Bryce Crawford Atlanta Concert reviews
Fabulous
What a fabulous night all around. The Little River Band was surprisingly entertaining and lively. I recognized all of their songs and still remembered the lyrics after many years. Rod, what can I say about him? His voice remains strong and true, just as we all recall, even though his moves may be a bit less sharp. He is a fantastic performer and powered through a few backstage mishaps, dropping a few f bombs with good-natured humor as he returned to the stage, endearing himself even more to the audience. I adored his accompanying musicians, particularly the female percussionist and fiddlers. The dancers were just okay. My main letdown was his abrupt exit from the stage at the end, without an encore or any farewells, which left us feeling puzzled. Nevertheless, it didn't detract from the show. The venue was decent. Efficiently run, with food trucks inside, plenty of restrooms, access to the hotel, and ample security to direct the crowd. I do wish the seats were larger. I felt cramped, especially with cup holders on both sides of the seat, but seeing Bryce Crawford perform made it all worthwhile. Initially, many people stood during the show, so we relied heavily on the screens flanking the stage and above it, which was fine. As the older audience eventually sat down, I was able to see Rod and his group on the stage itself. I would definitely attend again without hesitation.
